TUESDAY RUNDOWN: REGGIE BEGELTON & STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

The parade continued on Tuesday’s Episode #748 of The RP Show – Daytime Sports & Entertainment Talk – live from Grey Eagle Resort & Casino! Here’s the rundown:

  • RP and Moose Dupont kicked things off with The Warmup covering these Quick Six show topics: 1) Night One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs recap, 2) A preview of Night 2, 3) What should the Winnipeg Jets do with Mark Scheifele?, 4) The Blue ays fall 3-2 to the Yankees, 5) The CFL Draft goes Tuesday night!, 6A) Junior hockey playoffs, and 6B) NBA playoffs.
  • The daily Capital Auto Mall/Universal Collision Centre poll question was: Who should start in goal for Game for the Edmonton Oilers – Mikko Koskinen or Mike Smith? At press time over 70% voted in favour of Mike Smith.
  • Calgary Stampeders WR and Green Bay Packers alum Reggie Begelton joined the show live from the Stage Bar for an hour-long chat. Reggie discussed his two seasons with the Packers – saying Covid largely ruined the experience – and said QB Aaron Rodgers gets a bad rap. Begelton said he’s the most focused player he’s ever been around. The guys’ attention turned to the CFL and Reggie quipped, “Hey Rod, Bo doesn’t say hi!” Begelton spent three seasons with the Stampeders (2017-2019) and gave an inside look at why the franchise is so successful. They looked ahead to the 2022 CFL season and Reggie predicts great things out of the Red & White.
  • Moose returned to close out Hour 2 and there was plenty of banter on the Stanley Cup Playoffs and input from the viewers.
  • Tuesday’s Rockstar of the Day for RoxDar Supply Chain Solutions was Keon Raymond. Tuesday’s was Begelton.
  • See you at 12 pm Wednesday on Game+ TV, YouTube Live and RodPedersen.com/ListenLive!
