- In our weekly CFLPA spotlight for Sober Carpenter Non-Alcoholic Craft Beer we were joined by CFLPA Treasurer and CFL great Peter Dyakowski. The longtime Ticat smirked that he’s preparing for a comeback. He also explained the importance of the CFLPA – to stand up for players rights – and discussed winning CBC’s Canada’s Smartest Man competition!
- The daily Key Auto Group poll question was: Which is Canada’s Game of the Week in the CFL? At press time, the Lions/Bombers were leading.
- In Hour 2 were joined by Hockey Night In Canada analysis and NHL great Kelly Hrudey live at Century Downs. The former Islander, King & Shark goalie discussed his career, answered plenty of viewer questions (specifically including the state of the Flames and Jets) and got into some deep goalie talk with Rod. Kelly stayed for 40 minutes!
- CEBL Insider Seth Anderson joined the show to preview this weekend’s Play-In Games (Brampton/Scarborough and Edmonton/Winnipeg) and what’s caused the explosion of popularity in Season 5 of the league.
- Tuesday’s Rockstar of the Day was Ryan Thelwell. Wednesday’s was Kelly Hrudey!
