EDMONTON, Alta. (AP) — Ryan McLeod had a goal and an assist as Edmonton rallied past slumping Toronto 4-2, for its franchise-record 11th consecutive victory Tuesday evening.
Leon Draisaitl, Derek Ryan and Evan Bouchard also scored for the Oilers (24-15-1), who erased a 2-0 deficit to improve to 19-3-0 in their last 22 games. Stuart Skinner made 25 saves, and Connor McDavid picked up an assist to extend his point streak to 11 games.
Auston Matthews and Morgan Rielly scored for the Maple Leafs (21-13-8), who have lost four straight. Matthews got his NHL-leading 34th goal just 27 seconds in.

WINNIPEG, Man. (AP) — Kyle Connor scored into an empty net after a 16-game absence and Mason Appleton snapped a 25-game goal drought to help Winnipeg get back to its winning ways with a 4-2 victory over the New York Islanders.
Gabriel Vilardi and Neal Pionk also scored for the Jets, who had an eight-game win streak and 14-game point run halted Saturday in a 2-0 loss to Philadelphia. Connor Hellebuyck made 35 saves for Winnipeg.
Winnipeg has allowed three or fewer goals in a franchise-record 33 consecutive games. The NHL mark in the modern era (since 1967) is 35 by the Minnesota Wild in 2014-15. The Jets have also given up two or fewer goals in a club-record 13 straight games.

CALGARY, Alta. (AP) — Yegor Sharangovich scored a power-play goal late in overtime to complete Calgary’s 3-2 comeback win against Arizona in the Saddledome.
Nazem Kadri had a goal and an assist and Blake Coleman also scored for the Flames, who won their fourth in a row. Dan Vladar made 25 saves.

OTTAWA, Ont. (AP) — Mikko Rantanen scored twice and Colorado closed with four unanswered goals in the third period to beat Ottawa 7-4.

CHICAGO (AP) — Boris Katchouk scored in the ninth round of a shootout and Petr Mrazek made the clinching save on Filip Zadina to lift Chicago over San Jose 2-1.

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. – The Medicine Hat Tigers spotted the visiting Swift Current Broncos an early 2-0 lead, then stormed back with five unanswered goals to register a 5-2 Western Hockey League victory on Tuesday night.
Hunter St. Martin had two goals for the Central Division-leading Tigers (27-13-2-0), while Oasiz Wiesblatt, Gavin McKenna and Kadon McCann netted singles. Shane Smith chipped in with two assists.
Dawson Gerwing and Clarke Caswell scored for the Broncos (22-16-2-2), who led 2-1 after the first period, but trailed 4-3 heading into the third. The Tigers outshot the Broncos 24-21.
Both teams were 1-for-4 on the power play.

WENATCHEE, Wash. — Harrison Brunicke scored at 2:22 of overtime to give the visiting Kamloops Blazers an exciting 4-3 win over the Wenatchee Wild.
Brunicke scored twice for the Blazers (10-27-3-2), while Jordan Keller and Ashton Ferster netted singles.
Blazers netminder Dylan Ernst stopped 35 of 38 shots.
Sam Ward, Kenta Isogai and Hayden Moore scored for the Wild (24-14-4-0).
Wild goaltender Daniel Hauser stopped 32 of 36 shots.
POKE CHECKS: Four WHL teams made the Canadian Hockey League’s Top 10 rankings list this week. The Saskatoon Blades are ranked No. 1 in the country, while the Prince George Cougars are No. 3. The Portland Winterhawks are ranked No. 9 and the Everett Silvertips are No. 10. … There are three games in the WHL on Wednesday. The Blades visit the Red Deer Rebels, the Winterhawks visit the Kelowna Rockets, and the Moose Jaw Warriors host the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

LAVAL, Que. – Marie-Philip Poulin would not be denied twice.
After her overtime goal in Saturday’s home opener was called back, Montreal’s captain buried the game-winner in a 3-2 win over New York on Tuesday night.
Montreal attracted 6,334 spectators for its first game at Place Bell — and first win on home ice — after dropping a 3-2 overtime loss to Boston three nights earlier.

MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes have extended the contract of Canadian offensive lineman Justin Lawrence through 2025, the CFL club announced Tuesday.
The six-foot-two, 310-pound Edmonton native started all 18 regular-season games in 2023 with Montreal and helped the Alouettes win the Grey Cup.
Lawrence also won CFL championships in 2022 with Toronto and 2018 with Calgary.
CALGARY – The Calgary Stampeders signed Canadian receiver Tyson Middlemost to a contract extension Tuesday.
The 25-year-old native of Dundas, Ont., was slated to become a free agent next month.
The six-foot-one. 200-pound Middlemost has registered five catches for 44 yards over three seasons with Calgary. He has also recorded 20 special-teams tackles, a forced fumble and onside kick recovery.
