Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou also scored for the Blues. MacKenzie Weegar, Noah Hanifin and Yegor Sharangovich provided the offence for the Flames, who have lost three in a row.

Ivan Barbashev and Sheldon Rempal also scored for the Golden Knights. Brock Nelson and Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored for the Islanders.

Nikita Kucherov had three goals and an assist, and the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6-3. Kucherov moved into the NHL lead with 80 points, continuing his battle with Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon for the top spot. Brayden Point and Brandon Hagel each had a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay won for the sixth time in seven games.

Ottawa got first-period goals from Emily Clark and Brianne Jenner and hung on to defeat visiting Toronto 3-1 in Professional Women’s Hockey League action at T-D Place. Lexie Adzija also scored for the winners. Brittany Howard scored for Toronto. Ottawa won its second game in four outings, while Toronto dropped its fifth game in six starts.

The Las Vegas Raiders have hired Tom Telesco as their next general manager and passed over interim Champ Kelly for the position. Kelly could remain as the assistant G-M. That’s the position he held under Dave Ziegler, who was fired October 31st. Telesco comes from the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers, where he was the general manager since 2013.
