The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today international defensive back Weldon Brown has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss the remainder of the 2015 season.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that they have signed national defensive back Dan West to the roster. As per club policy details of the contract were not released.

West (6’2 – 201) will join the Riders after spending his first three seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after signing with the team as a free agent ahead of the 2012 season. Through 45 career regular season games the Bishop’s product has collected 28 special teams tackles.

Sorry buddy kent bailed on us after 2007. Tillman was still here but traded mvp joseph for a bag of pucks then traded again to get bishop…. Oh the bad ol days.

Sorry buddy The Woz. Taman still here, he should have traded Durant immediately after 2013 GC for a bag of pucks sans Joseph. Oh these are going to bad days ahead for riderville.

Yup and Joseph never did a thing again after the one good year. Would have been great to sign him up for the money he was asking for and then having him turn into the dud he became. At least Tillman left Miller with a great nucleus that he handed to Taman. Go over budget and win a GC then follow up with disastrous year and then now try to find a way through this year. In Hamilton Austin and Tillman took a sad sack organization and have it on the cusp of a GC, one they should have won… Read more »

Lots of comments this year about too many flags. I understand that. But … are all the reviews not as bad … or even worse. Same deal as another flag but reviews are impacting EVERY important play. I am finding the game has lost the spontaneous excitement that is so much a part of the entertainment for sports fans. We all know how our reaction is different to a great play/score etc when we see a flag. Dampens things … no? So now every exciting turnover and score is dampened as we wait for a head office review.
