YORKTON 3 PAT C’S 2

The Regina Pat Canadians, playing with six affiliated players, lost a close 3-2 decision to the Yorkton RawTec Maulers on Thursday night at the Co-operators.

Carson Focht and Jake Heerspink scored for the Pat Canadians.

Curtis Meger and Dean McNabb shared goaltending duties for the Pat C’s and combined to make 18 saves of 21 shots. Meger took the loss and made zero saves on the two shots that he faced before being replaced by McNabb.

Drayson Skulmoski, Josh Rohatensky and Brennan Watson scored for Yorkton.

Jordan Schmuland recorded the win in goal for the Maulers and made 29 saves.

In upcoming action, Regina will play host to the Moose Jaw Generals on Wednesday, January 13 at the Cooperators Centre.  Game time is 7:45 pm.
