By: Mike Stackhouse

1-NIPAWIN HAWKS 37-5-2-4 (1)
Unbeaten in 29 games and only 2 points ahead of Battlefords for the overall lead in the standings.

2-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS 38-9-2-0 (2)
Layne Young leads the league in scoring, but Cole Johnson may be their most dangerous player, as he’s racked up 12-goals and 24-points in 15-games.

3-MELFORT MUSTANGS 33-11-4-1 (3)
Former North Star Ben Allen has 6-goals and 9-points in 9-games since being acquired at the trade deadline.

4-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS 29-16-3-2 (4)
This is a team playing extremely well at the right time of the year.  Nic Shumlanski has 13-points in 12-games.  He was the big catch at the deadline.

5-ESTEVAN BRUINS 27-17-3-2 (6)
As goals have been harder to come by, goalie Bo Didur has been a godsend, going 7-3-1-1, 1.98, .930.

6-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS 22-18-3-3 (8)
Unbeaten in five and holding their own as they look to secure home ice advantage for the Survivor Series.

7-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS 26-19-1-3 (6)
They’ve dropped three straight and are just 6-and-10 since Christmas.

8-WEYBURN RED WINGS 25-20-4-0 (7)
They’ve dropped three of four and are also scuffling in the second half, going 6-8-and-1 since Christmas.

9-FLIN FLON BOMBERS 19-22-3-4 (9)
Brandson Hein is 9-6-6-12 since arriving from the Western Hockey League.

10-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES 17-29-0-2 (10)
They took two of three this past week and with the Klippers getting hot, it’s possible they could be looking at a long road trip in the Survivor Series.

11-YORKTON TERRIERS 10-34-2-2 (11)
They earned a split against Melville this weekend.

12-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES 8-38-0-3 (12)
Winless in their last ten.
