Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have acquired 19-year-old defenceman Aaron Hyman from the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for 17-year-old defenceman Owen Williams and a second round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

Hyman (6’5, 221) is in his third season in the Western Hockey League, the product of Calgary, Alberta has played in 139 games, scoring four goals, 23 assists for 27 points. This year in Seattle, Hyman has a goal and seven points in 26 games.

“Aaron brings size and playoff experience to our back end,” said Pats Head Coach and GM John Paddock. “He won a league championship and played in the Memorial Cup last season and will fit in great with our group.”

Hyman played in all 20 of the Thunderbirds playoff games last year, scoring a goal and picking up six assists and was a plus four.

Williams was a ninth round pick by Regina in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. The product of Delta, B.C. has appeared in 29 games with the Pats, picking up one assist and 16 shots on goal.

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have acquired 19-year-old defenceman Brady Pouteau from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

Pouteau (6’3, 204) has put up a goal and 10 assists in 31 games with the Hurricanes this year. This will be his second tour of duty with the Pats, he was originally drafted by Regina in the fourth round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.

“Brady is a nice addition to our defence corps” said Pats Head Coach and GM John Paddock. “He was an integral part of the Hurricanes making the Eastern Conference Championship series last year and we look forward to having him back in Regina.”

Pouteau has played in 122 games in his WHL career, the product of Oak Bluff, MB has scored four goals and has 26 assists. He has played in 23 playoff games, putting up five assists.
