The Canadian Hockey League today announced the week eleven edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2016-17 season.  The weekly rankings of the CHL’s Top-10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

The Regina Pats slide back into first place in this week’s edition of the CHL Top 10. After suffering regulation defeats in Victoria and Prince George last week, the Pats bounced back with a big shutout win over the Kamloops Blazers before dropping a tightly-contested overtime affair to the Kelowna Rockets. This marks the 10th consecutive week in the CHL Top 10 for the Pats.

The Everett Silvertips remain a mainstay in the CHL Top 10, appearing for the eighth consecutive week. With the recent play of Carter Hart, any less than a move up the charts would have been surprising. The Silvertips have won three games in a row, including a pair of shutouts against the Seattle Thunderbirds and Prince George Cougars.

Making the biggest jump up the CHL Top 10 charts are the Medicine Hat Tigers. Winners of 10 consecutive games, the Tigers move from ninth slot into fifth.

One week after climbing to the top of the CHL rankings, the Cougars tumble to sixth, but still enjoy a 10th consecutive week on the charts as one of the premier teams in both the WHL and CHL.

Finally, the Moose Jaw Warriors hold strong with a sixth straight honourable mention.
