RIDERS SIGN ROOSEVELT TO NEW DEAL

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Thursday international wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt has signed an extension to remain with the team through 2018.

As per club policy, financial details of the contract were not released.
Roosevelt originally joined the Green and White as a free agent in March, 2015 after spending parts of five seasons in the NFL. Through his first two CFL seasons the 28-year-old Buffalo native has played 21 games registering 101 receptions for 1,583 yards and seven touchdowns.
This season, Roosevelt earned nomination as the Riders Most Outstanding Player after picking up 1,095 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 76 receptions in 11 games. He was named a CFL Top Performer for week five after registering a season high 182 receiving yards.

Drew Willy back in green and white would be a boon to the future plight of the roughriders at the qb position. Straight up trade of DD for argo RR would be the cats meow, meowwww! Go roughriders.

Earlier this year all we read about from these keyboard warriors is that nobody wants to play for Jones, yet he is able to go out and sign some guys to long term contracts who we all thought would bolt out of town first chance they get. Only Durant remains and all I hear is every player likes to play for him. Funny how that is. The future is bright in Riderville and I will be there when it happens with some toadyaso's.

Drew Willy? C'mon man! Really!

That boat sailed. He's a career back-up at best.

Darian will lead us to the promise land. Just get him an o-line.

Ricky Rae for Darian? Willy back in Green and White???
Do you even understand the QB position?
You want to bring in a much older QB in Rae that is the most injury prone QB in the CFL… That's just dumb?
As well Willy's career as a starter is over! Willy pushed to get big money in Winnipeg after proving nothing. I agree with post 8.
Willy is nothing more than a back up QB
You must be a Toronto fan hoping for and up grade by scoring DD.
