Maybe its a good time to start the discussion on a new hockey stadium for Regina. Love to see one downtown at the old CP property. Less of a footprint than the original stadium location and maybe the Brandt Center can come down and offer up some parking for Mosaic Stadium events. Would be a real draw for business downtown and would suspect increase ticket sales to Pats games. Would probably increase the price though, which would be one drawback. Curious what others might have to offer? Just think Brandt Center is getting a little dated!

Brandt center I believe is still useful, yes it is a little dated. I think the physical structure is good but upgrades are needed. The building like other Exhibition Association properties have been neglected. Upgrades and additional seating would be cheaper than a new building. How much parking would be allocated if a downtown arena were built?

Parking? No problem, they can build a massive 12 story parkaide on the land remaining on the CP property right beside and attached to the new hockey stadium. There can also be an enclosed walking bridge linking the casino and downtown hotels.

Trump will soon be looking for a new project. Perhaps a Trump arena and parkade in Regina is what he is destined to build.

I was at the game Tues vs Lethbridge and last Wed vs Portland. 3,500 both games. Don't even talk about a new hockey rink until you consistently get 5,000 fans like other teams
