PATS 7 HURRICANES 2

LETHBRIDGE — The Regina Pats scored seven unanswered goals in Lethbridge Saturday night to beat the Hurricanes 7-2 at the Enmax Centre. 


The Canes took a 2-0 lead early in the middle stanza but the Pats managed to tie it up before the third.


In the final frame the club scored five times to improve to 6-0-3-0 on the year. 


Adam Brooks led the way with a goal and three assists while Filip Ahl and Chase Harrison each recorded three point nights. 


Tyler Brown stopped 33 of 35 shots faced for his third win of the season.

What's going on? I thought this article would be blowing up with glowing proud Pats fans. Maybe Rod just hasn't posted all of the comments. I will admit that I have always cheered for the Pats but became so use to just plain bad to mediocracy. Since the new owners group has taken over. It always takes some time into the season before Regina gets on the Pats wagon. Once people come out to a game or two, they will realize that this team is worth watching. Interesting note, there are a set of corporate season tickets behind me…..there is one guy that uses them about every 5-8 games that only bitches about the Pats. I hadn't seen him yet this year, but sure enough he shows up last week and complains the entire game. If you want fighting or goon style play, time travel back to the 80's. meh I paid $8 and went to watch the Capitals play the Silver Foxes.

Yet there are never any Junior B updates on this thing.

Wasn't able to watch the game on WHLLIVE but followed Twitter updates last night. Wow…wonder what JP said after they were down 2 – zip! Ahl with Wags & Brooks sounds like a formidable trio and Teams can't concentrate on one line. Going to be a treat this year…the best set of skilled players I have seen in a few years. Kudos to the Mgmt Team who have built the Team to this point.
