WHEAT KINGS 6 PATS 4

REGINA  – The Regina Pats completed a three goal comeback on Saturday night only to give up the game winning goal on the powerplay to James Shearer of the Wheat Kings and lost their pre-season finale 6-4.

Nick Henry scored twice, Dawson Leedahl and Chase Harrison each recorded two assists in the loss for the Pats. Tyler Brown made 21 stops in the defeat.

The Wheat Kings were led by Ty Lewis who scored once and had two assists while Jordan Papirny made 26 saves in goal for the win.

The Pats were three for six on the man advantage in the contest and finished the pre-season with 10 powerplay goals in eight games.
