ARGOS SIGN LEFEVOUR

LeFevour with the Riders in Florida

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts signed American quarterback Dan LeFevour to their practice roster Monday.

The six-foot-three, 229-pound LeFevour spent time in the CFL previously with Hamilton (2012-14) and Montreal (2015). He joins the Argos after being released by the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

LeFevour played collegiately at Central Michigan and was the MAC’s top offensive player in 2007 and ’09. He’s the conference’s all-time leader in completions (1,171) and passing yards (12,905) and LeFevour’s 149 total touchdowns scored rank second all-time in NCAA history.

The journeyman pivot attended Saskatchewan Roughriders minicamp in Florida in April, however he wasn’t offered a contract.
