BOMBERS SIGN SHOLOGAN

WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has inked eight-year CFL veteran Canadian defensive tackle Keith Shologan. 
Shologan (6-2, 290, UCF, November 26, 1985 in Edmonton, Alberta) has spent the past two seasons with Ottawa. He has tallied 182 career defensive tackles, 23 sacks and one forced fumble. He finished 2015 with 23 defensive tackles and seven sacks in 15 games. His seven sacks were tied for second most in Ottawa in 2015.
He has started 114 of his 122 career games played. Shologan has also played in seven career playoff games and three Grey Cup games, winning in 2013 with Saskatchewan.

One thing for sure, if after today's signing the Bombers do not achieve a home play-off spot in 2016 they will terminate their head coach. They should have one of the best offensive machines in the west.

With nobody to protect the main man Willy. Could have 5 Jerry Rice's out there but they will be pretty useless if the QB doesn't have time to get them the ball.

As excited as I am there is still no movement on the Bomber OL which has been a problem now for years.
