REGINA – Adam Brooks scored with one second remaining in overtime to lift the Regina Pats over Swift Current 4-3 Friday in the Brandt Centre.

Brooks added two assists in regulation for Regina, Sam Steel had a goal and a helper and Adam Berg and Austin Wagner supplied the rest of the offence.  Steel’s goal came with a minute left in regulation time to force OT.

Jon Matin led Swift Current (12-21-5) with a goal and an assist. Lane Pederson and Scott Feser also scored.

NOTES:  The Pats outshot the Broncos 37-27 … Jordan Hollett got the win in the Pats goal with 24 saves while Landon Bow took the loss … The Pats were 0/1 on the powerplay and 3/3 killing penalties … The attendance was 4540.

Regina (17-16-6-6) hosts the P.A. Raiders Sunday at 4:00 pm in the Brandt Centre on 620 CKRM.

A wild one at The Dome and a great ending. Steel stoled the show so to speak…and well Brooks, was just Brooks …again! Bring on PA!

Pats will really miss Williams the next 6 weeks….Good thing Brooks and Berg are performing…Steel should take note…Pats are not going far in playoffs so make the trades to ensure next year
