I just cancelled my plans to by a Labatte jersey. Cons are only supported be less than 30% of the country… Too bad Labatte and others in Sask are so ill informed that they go with the flow in Sask. Hey Rod, 70% of Canadians can't be wrong. Just because we have a strange 'first past the post' system, does not make it right for our country to be governed by Harper. We have a country where over 70% know better… As for Labatte, maybe he can be forgiven due that he is a Saskatchewanite and, therefore, does not know… Read more »

Racing cars, listening to Motley Crue and living in a world of conservative and out-dated values.

Good thing he is good at football!

I fear a federal NDP government. Think the recession is bad now…. if the NDP take over may as well just pack it in and move to the States.

Hey Rod, do you know if Chamblin or Taman are going to hold pressers to give their thoughts/side of the firings? Greg Marshall did in 2011, would like to hear what they have to say or are they not going to talk to the media about it.

I thank god every morning that this province finally came to there senses and kicked out the communist NDP ers here.

Could be worse, we could be the folks off to our west. An unmitigated disaster with oil prices where they are, and to rub salt in the wounds you have the socialists trying to govern without a clue what to do.

Thank god for the most popular premier in the province, Mr. Wall!!

Hey K, you come across like you think you know better because you're in the 70% group. Guess what? The other 2 guys each have only about a 30% support also, and therefore, a "real" (70%) majority not in favour of them either. "By" (please note spelling) the way, people who know better would "buy" a jersey rather than not "by" a jersey. Do you see the difference, Little Man?

It's absolutely pathetic that this segment about Brendon Labatte turns into a political football – no pun intended.

I know Brendon personally. One of the best guys you could ever meet. Outdated values? C'mon, give me a break.

Brendon is a terrific football player and an even better person.

Go Riders!

I lived under Papa Trudeau so don't want that again. If I wanted socialism I'd move to Sweden. If I want more gun control I'd vote lib or ndp. If I wanted more social handouts to people to lazy to work I'd vote lib or ndp.

Way to go Brendan.

Actually I am not a 'little man' anon…

And yes I am capable of understanding the difference in spelling between by and buy… Maybe you are perfect anon, the rest of us will just have to try our best…

Someone better get a missing persons report filed with the RPS, a thread that has politics in it and no post from from Obama? I think an amber alert is warranted.

You wonder why Rod is a little cranky? Probably has something to do with having to deal with naive idiots like K.

It's one thing to vote for the right wing bible thumpers but it is mind blowing when people actually admit it and seem proud of it.

And it's another thing to admit you vote for the socialists/communists. Take from the hard workers who work hard to get ahead, and give to the lazy bums who sit at home all day.

More taxes, that sounds great…

Pfft…Labatte is from Weyburn. Have you ever been there? It's the heart of the ignorant, "Git 'er Done" crowd.

Labatte is just a product of his screwed up environment.
