REDBLACKS OUST GIBSON

OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS have announced that Mike Gibson has been relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator. No replacement has been named.

“Mike is a dedicated football man and I’d like to thank him for his efforts this year,” said Rick Campbell, REDBLACKS’ head coach.  “We continue moving toward growing into a winning football team.  We have some names in mind but we’ll take the time to do our homework before hiring anybody.  We want to add a coach that will best help us to win football games.”

Then oust Smiling Hank. He still makes the same mistakes a rookie makes.

Smiling Hank just cost another coach his job and there's wingnuts in Riderland that thought we should trade for him.

The Redblacks would be wise to drop old Hank and sign Tate as free agent. Tate and Demarco could battle for the #1 and with all the free cap space, they could go after O-line talent in free agency as well as a big time receiver such as Dressler.
