Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club announced today the team has recalled defenceman Nathyn Mortlock (’96) and reassigned goaltender Dawson MacAuley (’94) and forward Dane Schioler (’96).

Nathyn Mortlock (6’1”, 185 lbs.) was listed by the Pats last season and played seven games for the club on the back end in a mid-season call up.  The Medicine Hat, AB native was the Medicine Hat Tigers’ 4th Round pick (69th Overall) in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.  In 28 games with the Grande Prairie Storm of the AJHL last season, Mortlock picked up nine points (4G, 5A) in 28 games.

Dawson MacAuley played his first full campaign in the WHL last season with the Pats, appearing in 50 games.  The 6’6”, 212 lbs. netminder posted a 25-16-4-0 record along with a 3.24 GAA and a 0.899 SV%.  MacAuley also played his way to four shutouts.  MacAuley’s reassignment to the SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers leaves the Pats with two goaltenders, Daniel Wapple and Tyler Fuhr, remaining on the roster.

Dane Schioler (6’1”, 180 lbs.) heads to the Portage Terriers of the MJHL where he tallied 25 points (12G, 13A) in 44 games last season to go with 90 penalty minutes.  The Winnipeg, MB product played in seven games with the Pats last season during brief call-up where he registered his first WHL goal against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Pats roster now sits at 29 as the team prepares for its final pre-season contest against the Raiders Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert.

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce single game tickets for the A&W Pats Home Opener and every Regina Pats home game of the 2014-15 season are available for purchase tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.ca.

Fans may purchase tickets in advance for games this season using Ticketmaster’s interactive seat map and pick their specific seats at the Brandt Centre.  Fans can also share their ticket purchase on Facebook to let friends know they will be at the game.

The Pats play the A&W Home Opener Saturday, September 20th at the Brandt Centre against the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7 p.m.  Stop by from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for the 620 CKRM Barbeque outside the West End of the Brandt Centre.  This year features live music as band Idol Sons will be playing on the stage throughout the barbeque.  Fans can enjoy a free hot dog and Coca Cola product (while supplies last) while they listen to the music and get ready for the game. For younger Pats fans, there will be free tattoos, interactive games and Dino Bouncers on hand. New for this year, is the A&W Car Show featuring classic cars to modern sports cars.  Also, fans nineteen and over can enjoy a beverage at the beer gardens.
