The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the following transactions:

 

· Activate national linebacker Tristan Black from the suspended list.

· Sign international defensive lineman Jeremy Beal.
 

Beal (6’3 – 280) joins the Riders after spending the last three seasons with the Denver Broncos. The 26-year-old was originally selected by the Broncos in round 7 (247th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.

 

Prior to going pro, the Texas native spent four seasons at the University of Oklahoma where he registered 224 defensive tackles, 58 tackles for loss and 29 quarterback sacks in 54 career collegiate games.
