CAN-AM GAME GOES MONDAY NIGHT

The Regina Thunder Football Club is pleased to announce the Second Annual CanAm Football Exchange presented by Prairie Mobile, your SaskTel Authorized Dealer.  This year`s event is set to take place on the evening of Monday, May 5th, 2014.

The Regina Thunder will play host to the NCAA Division III’s Concordia College Cobbers from Moorhead, Minnesota. The teams will take part in two practices and a full scrimmage at Leibel Field.

The Concordia College Cobbers are coming off back to back eight-game winning seasons and were recently ranked 21st in the country within the American Football Coaches Associations’ NCAA Division III poll.

“Coming off a championship season, we are working to establish a culture of consistent winning,” says Regina Thunder Head Coach, Scott MacAulay. “With Anthony Calvillo recently speaking at our Sports Dinner and now a visit from a very successful NCAA program, we are providing our players and coaches with opportunities to learn from some of the best.”

The CanAM Exchange will highlight a full weekend of events including the Regina Thunder 2014 Spring Camp (May 2-4, Mosaic Stadium) and a Regina Football Community Wing Night hosted by the Regina Thunder Alumni (April 30th, The Tap).

These events are made possible with a new partnership between the Regina Thunder and Prairie Mobile, your SaskTel Authorized Dealer.  . They are the presenting sponsor of both the 2014 CanAm Football Exchange and the Regina Thunder Spring Camp.
