REGINA PRODUCT SIGNS NHL DEAL

Swift Current, SK – The New Jersey Devils announced Tuesday that they have signed Swift Current Broncos graduate Graham Black to an entry-level contract.

Black, a Regina, SK product, was selected by the Devils in the 5th round, 135th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.  The 6′, 184-pound Regina, SK product recorded a team-leading and career-best 97 points (34G,63A) in 69 games played with the Broncos this season.  In his WHL career, he posted 199 points (76G, 123A) in 214 games played (all with the Swift Current Broncos).

Black recently joined the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League, where he recorded a plus-1 rating in two games played.

The Swift Current Broncos would like to congratulate Graham on this incredible, yet well-deserved milestone in his hockey career.

Congrats Graham…….here's a guy right under the Pats nose..when swift got him it was because Edmonton had his rights and no interest in dealing with Mr Parker…so he went to swift. Again nice job Graham.
