REGINA — That didn’t take long. Just days after the Regina Pats were eliminated from the WHL Playoffs, there’s word the franchise has been sold.
And the buyer? Your friendly neighbourhoud CFL team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders!
A source requesting anonymity said both the Pats and Roughriders will make the announcement at a news conference this morning at Fatburger however this blog is the first to report the scoop.

Here's to hoping this could actually happen one day…..you look at the Success of the Kings and Hitmen being owned by a professional team, I could only think the same success would happen here with the Pats influence.
