PAT C’S OPEN MAC’S WITH A WIN

The Regina Pat Canadians opened the famed Mac’s Midget Hockey Tournament with a convincing 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Chiefs.

The game started even with the Vancouver NE Chiefs outshooting the Regina Pat Canadians 10-8 in the first, but it was the Canadians who went in to the dressing rooms with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Tyler Adams.

Shots were even at 12 in the second, but the Regina Pat Canadians were able to capitalize with even strength goals from Arthur Miller and Peyton Hogan and a power play marker from Owen Sillinger.

The Chiefs managed to get one past Canadians netminder Curtis Meger from Lucian Serban.

The Regina Pat Canadians came out strong in the third, outshooting the Chiefs 15-7 and capitalized with a powerplay goal from Ty Barnstable and again at even strength from Jake Tesarowski.
