GOLDEN KNIGHTS SIGN ESTEVAN’S BRAYDEN PACHAL

VEGAS – Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced Thursday that the team has signed defenseman Brayden Pachal to a one-year contract worth an average annual value of $750,000. 

Pachal, a native of Saskatchewan, has played in two NHL games with Vegas, making his debut on March 15, 2022, in Winnipeg against the Jets. The defenseman was named captain of the Henderson Silver Knights during the 2021-22 season and has appeared in a total of 137 AHL contests during his career. Pachal originally joined the Golden Knights as an undrafted free agent, signing an entry-level contract on September 20, 2019. Prior to his professional career, Pachal played four seasons in the WHL. He served as the captain of the Prince Albert Raiders in 2018-19, leading the team to a WHL Championship and leading the league with a plus-76 rating.
