We kept the good times rolling with Tuesday’s Episode #897 of Canada’s Daytime Sports & Entertainment Talkshow on Game+ TV, YouTube Live and WQEE! Here’s the rundown:

  • RP & Moose Dupont got it going with The Warmup covering these Quick Six show topics: 1) NHL leftovers including Canucks & Flames wins and an Oilers loss, 2) Which NHL teams were masquerading this fall? Rod figures it’s the Senators, Flyers, Sabres and Wild, 3) Tom Brady leads another game-winning drive for the Bucs on Monday Night Football and Baker Mayfield is waived by Carolina (he’d later be picked up by the Rams), 4) In the NBA, the Celtics downed the Raptors 116-110 while the Thunder upended the Hawks 121-114, 5) Legendary Blue Jays announcer Jerry Howarth is nominated for the Ford Frick Award, and 6) Paul Maurice returns to Winnipeg Tuesday night with the Florida Panthers.
  • It was just Rod and Moose for all of Hour 1, engaging the audience with “Sports Talk With A Twist”.
  • It was Day 6 of our NHL Reverse Retro Jersey Bracket. The daily Capital Auto Mall/Universal Collision Centre poll question was – Whose Reverse Retro is better: Vancouver or Seattle? At press time, the Canucks were leading.
  • Our guests appeared in Hour 2 and were led off by Sirius/XM NFL Radio’s Zig Fracassi. As a staunch Bruins fan, Zig examined the Bruins 6-5 SO loss to Vegas, and the return of Bruce Cassidy to Boston. Fracassi then delved into the latest NFL news including the landing spot for Odell Beckham Jr. (likely Dallas), the career of Baker Mayfield, and said Tom Brady is still playing like he’s 25 years old. He feels Tom can play as long as he wants.
  • Popular RP Show guest Brien Rea of Dallas Stars TV was next and he previewed Tuesday night’s Maple Leafs/Stars clash in Dallas. Rea figures the point streaks of Mitch Marner (19 games) and Jason Robertson (18 games) are the top storyline but said even Robertson admitted he’s over 30 games away from Wayne Gretzky’s record! Brien explained the resurgence of the Stars under first-year coach Peter DeBoer and answered plenty of audience questions.
  • Monday’s Rockstar of the Day was Cody Fajardo. Tuesday’s was Brien Rea.
  • See you at 12 pm ET on Wednesday on Game+ TV, YouTube Live and WQEE Radio!
