CFL SIM: BC 10 MONTREAL 3

MONTREAL – The BC Lions are officially the hottest team in the 2020 CFL SIM season.

In a computer-generated game on Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football, the Lions defense again showed its teeth in a 10-3 victory over the Alouettes giving them a sweep of their cross-Canada rivals. The game closed Week 8 in the CFL SIM, and came on the heels of a 27-9 Li0ns victory 0ver the Als in Week 7 in Vancouver.

Montreal QB Vernon Adams Jr. will be having virtual nightmares after this one, having fumbled once, thrown two interceptions and being sacked once. There were no touchdowns in this game as Als punter Ryan Santoso gave up a pair of safeties and Lions kicker Sergio Castillo booted two field goals.

BC led 3-1, 8-3, and 10-3 by quarter at Percival Molson Stadium.

Lions QB Mike Reilly threw for 195 yards, with 68 of them going to WR Caleb Holley. Adam Konar and T.J. Lee both had interceptions while DE Chris Casher came up with a fumble recovery.

The Lions have now won five consecutive games to boost their record to 5-3 while Montreal falls to 2-5. BC visits Saskatchewan (4-2) in Week 9 while the Alouettes travel to Hamilton (2-5).
