CFL SIM WEEK 15 FINALES: TICATS, REDBLACKS, ALOUETTES PREVAIL!

HAMILTON 18 WINNIPEG 2

WINNIPEG – In a Grey Cup rematch, Hamilton turned the tables.

In a computer-simulated game on Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football, Tiger-Cats QB Dane Evans threw for 214 yards and kicker Matt White went 6/6 on field goals as Hamilton rolled 18-2 over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to avenge their loss in last year’s Grey Cup.

The hilites for the Bombers came on defense as Willie Jefferson notched a sack and Chris Lyles recorded an interception. QB Zach Collaros threw for 188 yards.

OTTAWA 22 TORONTO 12

TORONTO – The upset of Week 15 came at BMO Field where Ottawa’s Nick Arbuckle threw for 283 yards and a touchdown as the RedBlacks upset the CFL SIM East Division leaders 22-12.

Ottawa jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first quarter and had an 11-3 advantage at half-time. The visitors were up 12-9 going into the fourth quarter. CFL SIM leading receiver Brad Sinopoli had another big day, hauling 121 yards receiving and a TD.

For Toronto, QB Matt Nichols threw for 342 yards in a losing cause including 102 yards to Juwan Brescacin, 63 yards to Dejon Brissett and 67 yards to Natey Adjei.

MONTREAL 6 EDMONTON 5

MONTREAL – The lowest-scoring game of the 2020 CFL SIM season was reserved for Percival Molson Stadium where the Alouettes eaked out a 6-5 victory over the Edmonton Football Club.

In a severe quirk, there was absolutely no scoring in the second half by either team! Tyler Crapigna’s field goals of 20 and 23 yards provided the winning points for the upstart Als.
