Seven weeks into the NFL season, the race for top place in the league is starting to become more and more clear.

As always, Darren Dupont has taken the data, crunched it, and released his Top 5 Power Rankings in the NFL

For the third straight week, the Arizona Cardinals are at the top of the list. Now 7-0, the Cardinals are coming off a blowout win against the Houston Texans where they won 31-5.

Kyler Murray has looked like an MVP candidate so far and had another solid game for the Cardinals throwing for 261 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

After a 38-3 win against the Chicago Bears, Darren has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as his number two team in the NFL. Tom Brady threw his 600th  career touchdown pass on Sunday, something no QB has ever done before in the history of pro football.

While the Cowboys didn’t play this week, and a calf injury to Dak Prescott, Darren is confident in the Cowboys to maintain their winning ways and secured the number 3 spot in his power rankings.

In a surprising pick at number four, the Green Bay Packers have climbed in to the top five. With their 1950’s throwback jerseys on, the Packers defeated Washington 24-10 and have won 6 in a row.

Closing out the top five is the Los Angeles Rams, who continue to be a force with Matt Stafford at QB. In a battle between Stafford and his trade partner Jared Goff, the Rams beat the Detroit Lions 28-19.
