We had another good week in week 3. Let’s keep it going!

Carolina @ Dallas (-4.5)

Dallas at home favoured by 4.5 over the undefeated Panthers is a delicious match-up. Look, I like Dak Prescott over Sam Darnold. Despite having his career back on track in Carolina, Darnold has just three touchdown passes in three weeks but is up against the NFL’s 31st ranked pass defence. Christian McCaffrey won’t play and that hurts against the league’s sixth ranked rush defence in Dallas. Carolina does have both the league’s number one pass and run defence and are 2nd in points but they’ll need more than that to beat Dallas on Sunday.

I’m taking the Cowboys -4.5.

Arizona @ LA Rams (-4)

Kyler Murray continues to impress and sits third in the NFL in passing yards and T-6th in touchdown passes. On the other side, however, is Matthew Stafford who enters with nine touchdown passes to just a single interception and a QBR of 129.8. I could stop there. What I will say is that the Rams don’t jump off the charts when you look at their place in the league. They’re 14th in total yards (27th run offence), 21st in total yards against (25th ranked pass defence), but they are third in points for and 9th in points against. Key area to watch? The Rams on third down. They have the #3 third-down offence while the Cards hold the league’s second ranked third-down pass defence.

I’ve got the Rams -4 remaining undefeated at home.

Baltimore (-1) @ Denver

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown leads the Ravens with 235 yards receiving through three weeks but the drops are an issue. This team has not reached its potential. Still, the Ravens are 3rd in total yards, have the league’s number one rushing offence and are 11th in points. The concern? They’re 31st in the league when it comes to converting on third down. Denver is interesting. They have the number one defence in the entire NFL when it comes to points against. They’re second in total yards (third in pass defence and 2nd in run defence) and Teddy Bridgewater has been clean, throwing four touchdowns with zero interceptions.  This is the first test for the Broncos and I don’t think they’ll be ready.

I’ve got Baltimore -1.
