PAT C’S DOWN 1-0

The Regina Pat Canadians hosted the Notre Dame Hounds on Monday, March 7, 2016 and came away with a 4–1 loss.  This was Game 1 of Round 2 of the SMAAAHL playoffs.  The next game is in Wilcox on Wednesday, March 9.

Ty Barnstable scored the only goal for the Pat C’s on a PP in the first period.

Curtis Meger stopped 18 of 21 shots directed his way – the fourth goal by ND Hounds was into an empty net.

Scoring for the Notre Dame Hounds was Carson McManaman with two goals, Column McGauley and Owen Williams with an empty net goal.

Tanner Douglas stopped 31 of 32 shots, in earning the win.  

The Pat Canadians play their next home game vs ND Hounds on Thursday, March 10 – 7:45 puck drop.

You can't win in the playoffs without good goaltending. 3 goals on 21 shots wont cut it.

Curtis Meger is the best goalie in AAA just ask his Dad.
