SASKATOON 4 REGINA 1 – PATS DROP SEVENTH IN A ROW

SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Blades defeated the Regina Pats 4-1 Sunday for their fourth consecutive triumph in the Western Hockey League.

Egor Sidorov, Brandon Lisowsky, Tristen Robins and Moritz Elias scored for the Blades (6-1-1), which are second in the Eastern Conference.

Cole Dubinsky scored the lone goal for the Pats (2-7-0), which are tied with the Prince Albert Raiders at the bottom of the East. Connor Bedard assisted on the goal.

Nolan Maier made 27 saves for the win while Matthew Kieper stopped 22 shots in defeat.

It was Saskatoon’s second victory over Regina in three days after taking it 5-2 on Friday.

The attendance was 4,165.

Regina’s next in action Friday at Swift Current before returning home to host the Broncos Saturday at 7:00 pm on AccessNow-TV.
