SSHOF SET TO RE-OPEN SEPTEMBER 1

The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame (SSHF) has targeted September 1 to re-open our exhibit galleries to the public.

Museums are included as part of Phase Four, Part II of the provincial Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan which took effect on June 29. The SSHF exhibit galleries were undergoing renovations and were closed when social distancing protocols were put in place by the Government of Saskatchewan in March.

While the gallery redevelopment is completed, the SSHF continues to deliver content and programming online.

The SSHF’s summer program, Creating Active Champions, will be presented online this year.

Beginning July 6, Creating Active Champions will be livestreamed twice a day, Monday to Friday, at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SaskSportsHF). The program is geared towards students between the ages of 6 and 12.

The program offers students creative ways to stay active while encouraging new skills and sharing some of the great sport history in Saskatchewan.  The program is free of charge and runs through to August 21.

The SSHF’s administration offices will remain closed to the public at this time.
