Week 1 NFL Picks For PUMPJACKS!

Patriots at Seahawks (-3.5) — SEAHAWKS
A Super Bowl rematch to open the season. Seattle is the defending champion and gets the home-field advantage. Tough spot for New England right out of the gate.
49ers at Rams (-3.5) — RAMS
The NFL heads to Australia for this one. Two NFC West heavyweights, but I’ll take the Rams in a game that could have playoff implications right from Week 1.
Bears (-3.0) at Panthers — BEARS
Chicago has more momentum entering the season. The Panthers are improving, but the Bears have the better overall roster.
Ravens (-3.5) at Colts — RAVENS
Baltimore has too much firepower. The Colts will be competitive at home, but the Ravens are built to win these kinds of games and some have them picked to win the AFC.
Falcons at Steelers (-3.5) — STEELERS
New quarterbacks and new storylines abound, but Pittsburgh at home is the deciding factor for me. Tua couldn’t get it done in Miami. There’s no reason to think he will in Atlanta, while the last hurrah for Aaron Rodgers begins in this one.
Browns at Jaguars (-8.5) — JAGUARS
Jacksonville looks like one of the more intriguing teams in the AFC. The Browns have plenty to prove after a turbulent offseason and embattled starting QB Deshaun Watson is already under the gun.
Buccaneers at Bengals (-3.5) — BENGALS
This could be a fun offensive matchup. Cincinnati at home gets the nod, but Tampa Bay is absolutely capable of making this interesting.
Jets at Titans (-1.5) — JETS
A true toss-up, but I’m taking the Jets to start their season on the right foot. Optimism is high at the Meadowlands. Let’s see how long it lasts.
Saints at Lions (-7.0) — LIONS
Detroit should be one of the NFC’s best teams after faltering in 2025. At home, against a Saints team with questions, this is the Lions’ game to lose. Plus, if the Saints want to be in the Arch Manning sweepstakes, they might as well get off on the right foot.
Bills (-1.5) at Texans — BILLS
One of the games of the week. Two AFC contenders going head-to-head, and I’m riding with Buffalo in a close one as they look to get Joe Brady a win in his head coaching debut.
Cardinals at Chargers (-10.0) — CHARGERS
The Chargers are heavily favored for a reason. Arizona is project to only post two wins this season, and it won’t be this week. Los Angeles should take care of business at home as they look to gain footing in the perennially tough AFC West.
Packers at Vikings (-1.5) — PACKERS
A terrific NFC North battle. I like Green Bay’s experience in a game that could go right down to the wire, in Kyler Murray’s Minnesota debut.
Dolphins at Raiders (-3.5) — RAIDERS
Two teams with plenty of change. Miami’s speed and offensive weapons give them a chance but Las Vegas is favoured and Kirk Cousins has seen this drill before.
Commanders at Eagles (-5.5) — EAGLES
Philadelphia gets a tough divisional opponent immediately. The Commanders are dangerous, but the Eagles at home are my pick.
Cowboys (-2.5) at Giants — COWBOYS
Sunday Night Football and a classic rivalry. The Giants may be improved, but Dallas has enough offensive firepower to get the road win.
Broncos at Chiefs (-2.5) — CHIEFS
A huge AFC West showdown to close Week 1. Kansas City is still Kansas City, especially at Arrowhead.
