Final: Roughriders 42 RedBlacks 20

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders improved to 6-2 with a 42-20 trouncing of the 0-8 Ottawa RedBlacks on Friday at Mosaic Stadium.

The Riders were in control throughout, leading 3-0, 13-6, and 21-14 by quarters before piling on 21 points in the fourth period. Saskatchewan also won the turnover battle 4-1.

Saskatchewan QB Trevor Harris thew for 401 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while his counterpart Jake Maier of Ottawa tossed for 339 yards, two TDs and one INT. Saskatchewan ‘s leading receiver was KeeSean Johnson with 133 yards and a score while running back Thomas Bertrand-Hudon was the leading rusher with 65 yards. Kicker Alex Hale was 2/2 on field goal attempts.

The Roughriders have a bye in Week 11 while Ottawa visits Winnipeg on Friday.
