Each week Darren Dupont stops by with his betting picks and advice for our partners at ComeOn! Canada. I want to state this off the top: week 17 in the NFL is incredibly unpredictable as teams with playoff positions locked up can make all sorts of in game decisions you wouldn’t normally see. Still, here are my picks for week 17 in the NFL!

DAL (-1.5) @ NYG

No joke, the Dallas Cowboys  could win the NFC East this weekend. If Washington falls on Sunday night, the winner of this game will win the division. The Cowboys are on a roll, having won three-straight putting up 30, 41, and 37 points in each.

Andy Dalton has thrown seven touchdown passes in that span and has gotten better each week.

On the other side, the Giants have lost three-straight and the offence has completely dried up. The last three weeks have seen the Giants put up seven, six, and 13 points offensively. A starting quarterback has thrown just one touchdown pass over that span. Add to that that Daniel Jones seems to still be battling a hamstring issue and his mobility is limited.

Run, don’t walk, to ComeOn! and take the Cowboys at -1.5 because that number is sure to grow before game time.

SEA (-5.5) @ SF

This is the final tune-up for the Seahawks heading into the playoffs and they are peaking again. I know there are questions around their offensive line and how well they can protect Russell Wilson but it’s not something I’m overly worried about this week.

Pete Carroll has said they are “all-in” heading into week 17 so I’ll take Seattle at -5.5, a number I think will rise towards kickoff.

ARI @ LAR (-3.5) / MIA @ BUF (-2.5)

Two quick notes to end. We don’t really know what Sean McDermott will do with his roster this week and that scares me. It appears that they are full-go, but it’s unpredictable.

Does Fitzmagic have another in him? If Josh Allen & Co. play I can’t go against the Bills.

On the other side, Kyler Murray says he will play against the Rams despite dealing with a leg injury. Meanwhile, the Rams are turning to John Wolford at quarterback with Jared Goff out with a thumb injury. He’s NEVER played in a regular season NFL game before. That doesn’t matter as much to me. The Rams’ offence is more about scheme, play design, and creativity more than it’s about a quarterback sitting back and picking apart a defence.

Still, if Murray plays, even if he can’t run like we’re accustom to, I like the Cardinals.

UPDATE: Ryan Fitzmagic has been put on the Covid list Thursday afternoon, so its Tua or bust for Miami.
