The Week That Was:
Wed, Oct 23 – Pats 1 vs. PA 3
The night belonged to rookie netminder Nick McBride as the Prince Albert goaltender made 42 stops, helping his squad to a 3-1 road win.  The Pats peppered the net through forty minutes with 34 shots.  Boston Leier was the lone Pat get past McBride with a brilliant goal in the second.  Dylan Busenius, Jayden Hart and Josh Morrissey scored for the Raiders.

Fri, Oct 25 – Pats 2 vs. Edmonton 7
The Oil Kings jumped out to an early 2-0 lead then pumped in five goals in the middle frame to jump out to a 7-0 lead through forty.  Ashton Sautner had two goals and an assist for Edmonton from the blue-line.  Dyson Stevenson scored on the powerplay and Chandler Stephenson added a shorthanded goal in the third period of the 7-2 loss.

Sat, Oct 26 – Pats 1 @ PA 3
The Raiders worked themselves out to a 3-0 lead after two periods, and though the Pats pressed in the third, they wouldn’t be able to get any closer than a two goal deficit in a 3-1 loss.  Dyson Stevenson redirected Stephen Hak’s point shot past Cole Cheveldave, who was the game’s first star, to get the Pats on the board in the third period.

Quote of the Week:
“We came out pretty flat, really no energy in the room. It’s just unacceptable. We need to move on from it but make sure we learn what it feels like to lose. Sometimes a kick in the rear can get your team going. Hopefully that’s the case.”
